Treasurer’s Report

  • None given.

Old Business

  • Thunder on the Snake final report
    • For the amount of chaos, Thunder went well. We were able to get some last minute ham operators to man safety boat. T-shirts are neutral (no year marked), so you can wear them next year. A few hick ups with the repeater and communications at Bear Bar start/finish. The 2 new operators handled Net Control well. As did the radio operators on the safety boats.
    • Mike (WA7MGN) will be working to smooth out some of the issues between the race directors, safety boat captains, other crews members, and radio operators.

New Business

  • Other races coming up
    • Discussed potential races or events the group can work later this year and into 2022. It might be best to gather all the events and see what the group wants to do. And how many events become too many and lean towards burnout. Will approach this topic again at a later date.
