AuxComm/ARES

  • We had a meeting of both the Latah and Whitman ARES teams on November 4 to discuss functionally combining the two groups. Everyone expressed favorably about the change. The proposed organizational structure will be an EC for each county to meet the national requirements and an “informal” EC over both groups for functional requirements. AECs would be assigned to organize the actual ARES events and any public service events we take on. The organization is still developing but we will be transitioning to a single functional unit over the next several months.
